About the lodge

Ishasha Pride Lodge is adjacent to the south-western part of Queen Elizabeth National Park which is a well-liked park but also the most traveled national park within Uganda and is famous mainly for tree-climbing lions.

Our lodge is perfect for anyone who finds joy in the wilderness. We provide exclusive options of accommodation ranging from Camping, and executive cottages, as well as pitching one’s own tent.

We are located in Kanungu district next to Ntungwe river. In this area, you will also come across huge buffalo herds and numerous antelopes that keep crossing your path. The area is famous for the tree climbing lions and these may be seen during the game drive.

There are also elephants that have actually settled within the Ishasha area and hippos too are common in this area. Being next to the park, the wildlife is free to pass through the lodge. Elephants can be seen bathing in the river, buffalo enjoy grazing, and resident troops of the Black-and-White Colobus and vervet monkeys are frequently seen. The lodge is surrounded by riparian forest vegetation and acacias Savannah

Activities In Ishasha Pride Lodge

The most ideal activity during your stay would be a game drive. This will give you the chance to enjoy the savannah and sights including lions, leopards, elephants, hyenas, buffalos, giant forest hogs, different species of antelopes like topi, waterbuck, and Ugandan kob, and many more. If you are interested in this activity, make your request at the time of booking.

A guided walk along river Ntungwe will give you an opportunity to see the communities as well as a walk through the forest.

It is possible to do fishing in river Ntungwe, so one can come with their fishing equipment

Cancellation Policy

• Confirmed bookings canceled prior to 60 days of arrival will forfeit the 30% deposit.
• 59– 30 days prior to client arrival date – 50% of total booking will be charged.
• 29 ‐ 0 days prior to client arrival date – 100% of total booking will be charged.
• All cancellations or amendments are only accepted when received in writing or by email.
