The Botanical Gardens are located on the shores of Lake Victoria within Entebbe town.
The gardens have a wide range of plant and animal species. They are a popular attraction for visitors and locals looking to experience a botanical environment through nature walks, picnics, and any other outdoor activities. The gardens have several bird species and provide an opportunity for birding enthusiasts.
You will find the Colobus monkeys in the gardens as well as birds like the grey parrot. There is an entrance fee to be paid as you get into the gardens. Funds collected are used for the maintenance of the place. Its UGX 10,000/- for foreigners and UGX 5,000/- for locals.

Uganda Reptiles Village is located in Katabi along Entebbe-Kampala road. The Reptile Village in Entebbe attracts different people for varying reasons, besides adventure, some go there for study purposes while others visit the village to carry out research.
Many of the reptile species kept at this place are rescued from the community and have been given a habitat that is meant to be a safe space for them. While at the reptile village, it's a grand opportunity to learn more about these reptiles and how they can be protected.
There is a total of 50 reptiles at the Reptile Village in Entebbe which are categorized into 20 species. You can directly see most of these reptiles here at their new habitat where they are cared for. You’ll be thrilled to see reptiles such as cobras, Gabon viper, Nile monitor lizards, boomslangs, chameleons, and leopard tortoises among others. This is one of the unique areas in Uganda where you have a chance to see the caretakers of these reptiles play around with snakes that you would not expect to be friendly. Regardless of how poisonous some of these snakes are, they know the best way to handle them and this is where you can have such unique experiences.
Uganda Wildlife Education Centre is popularly known as Entebbe Zoo. It was established to act as a reception Refugee Centre for the wildlife animals that were found injured and recovered from Poachers. The center takes on a huge responsibility of educating the local people of Uganda and foreign visitors about the significance of biodiversity conservation.
It is one of the great tourism sites situated in Entebbe. A tour of the center will offer you a chance to feel and taste the East African wildlife that is found in the various national parks and reserves. Visitors are able to get an insight into the wildlife animals and participate in the feeding of the animals together with the animal keepers, engage in food preparation, and explore the animal pharmacy.
